What the warranty covers
We warrant that your KoolDoor insulation panels are free from manufacturing faults for 10 years from the date of purchase. If a panel fails because of a defect in materials or manufacture under normal use, we will repair or replace it.
This is a product guarantee on the panels. It is not a guarantee on installation labour or workmanship.
What is not covered
The warranty does not cover:
- Garage door seal kits. Seal kits are not covered by the 10-year guarantee. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law still apply to them in full.
- Installation labour or workmanship. The 10-year guarantee covers the panels themselves, not the work of fitting them. Australian Consumer Law guarantees still apply to any service we supply.
- Damage from misuse, accident or alterations to the product
- Damage caused by incorrect installation where the kit was fitted by someone other than our team and not in line with our instructions
- Normal wear, fading or marks from everyday use
- A garage door that was in poor condition or unusual shape before fitting

Your consumer rights
This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Where that law applies, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss. Nothing in this warranty limits those rights.
